Our story

We are a family-owned and operated business proudly serving the DFW area.

As the mama of this tribe, I wanted to create opportunities for our family members to work and serve our community together. I have been providing event catering since college. As an art major, I was often invited to gallery openings where the “same ole same ole” menu was regularly repeated. In an effort to help these busy artists, I started offering to cater their opening shows.

This life long “side gig” has grown to a much larger operation. What a creative ride it has been so far. We found our groovy vintage Shasta camper (pictured above) in Austin, TX. This was one of my initial “get creative on a budget” projects - a self-contained mobile bar and serving trailer.

We had to pivot when Covid hit! But we didn’t let it stop us or slow us down. As our events began to cancel one by one due to quarantine and crowd restrictions, we moved to weekly meal delivery. This turned out to be a blessing and we continue to offer family style “home style” meals. Now via pick up rather than weekly delivery.

Which brings me to our current venture . . . our Neighborhood Café inside Cottonwood Market in Richardson, TX. We partnered with Herb and Donna Weitzman, the owners of Cottonwood Market and the manager of Cottonwood, Shirley Guidry (my biggest cheerleader!), to create this unique dining and shopping experience.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and for supporting our efforts! We are looking forward to serving you soon!

Cheers, Robin Jackson, Owner The Antique Table Cafe
